My walls installations illustrate ideas which are offered up for people to reflect upon. Each installation includes a verbal or literary pretext which inspired its fabrication. It is a representation of these words, in three dimensions and on the scale of the city. I want the installation to intrigue passers-by and for it to become a pretext for reflection and exchange.
People pass, I remain, their words make me travel.
When a sculpture is not in contact with a surface or a wall, we lose the notion of mass. There no longer is a crushing, flattening, hidden face, no back, no reverse side. The form frees itself, flourishes in space. It reveals itself from all sides.
